Warm-up (No Measure)
Set up four cones in a zig zag path on the turf. Have the kids run to touch each cone in that zig zag pathway. After a couple times switch to skipping, galloping, and sliding.
Metcon (No Measure)
Squat Thrusters with PVC
Demonstrate Squat while PVC with both hands on the chest. Then demonstrate the press with the PVC. Then put the two movements together. Have them perform four every 30 seconds for eight rounds.
Partner AMRAP for 8 minutes
2 Burpees
4 Squat Thrusters
Sprint to the a cone you set up and back
Game:
Builders and Bulldozers
Using as many cones as you can, have half of the cones tipped over and the other half standing up. Assign half of the kids to be builders and the other half to be bulldozers. Builders stand up the tipped cones and bulldozers knock over the cones standing. Do not allow anyone to kick them. After about 30 seconds have them switch jobs.
